Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and us. By using Love Mismatch or buying a guide, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What Love Mismatch is, and is not
Love Mismatch is a self-reflection and communication tool. It includes a free love-language assessment and optional paid guides written by AI. It is not therapy, counseling, medical, psychological, or legal advice, and it is not a clinical or scientifically validated assessment. Results and guides describe tendencies; they do not predict outcomes. Do not use them to make decisions about your safety.

2. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You may use Love Mismatch only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. Your content and your partner’s
You keep ownership of what you enter. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service. That includes sending it to our AI provider when you buy a guide. You promise that:
- you only import or submit another person’s results with that person’s permission;
- for a couples guide, your partner has agreed to their information being sent to our AI provider;
- you will not submit anything unlawful, harassing, or that invades someone’s privacy.
4. Paid guides
Prices are shown before you pay (currently $9 for the Personal Love Guide and $19 for the Couples Translation Guide) and are charged in U.S. dollars through Stripe. Each is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. There are no accounts. Access is tied to the browser where you bought it, and it lasts 30 days. If you clear that browser’s data or switch devices, you may lose access. To keep a copy, print or save your guide. To prevent abuse, we limit how many times a guide can be generated.
Guides are written by AI from your answers. They may contain mistakes, generalizations, or suggestions that don’t fit your situation. Use your own judgment.
5. Refund Policy
- 14-day refund, no questions asked. Email support at teklani dot com within 14 days of purchase with your Stripe receipt, and we will refund you in full.
- If your guide won’t generate. If a guide still fails after you retry, contact us and we will fix it or refund you in full, whenever you ask.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method. They usually arrive within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- A refund ends access to that guide.
- Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We can resolve it faster, and a chargeback also ends access.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service. This includes attempting to bypass payment or usage limits, reverse-engineering or overloading it, scraping it, or reselling guides or access. We may suspend access for misuse.
7. Our content
The site, the assessment, its design, and its text are ours or our licensors’. You may keep and share the guides you buy for personal use. Love Mismatch is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Dr. Gary Chapman or The 5 Love Languages®, which are trademarks of their owners.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any particular outcome for you or your relationship.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived. That includes Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes chapters 480 and 481A.
10. Disputes and governing law
Hawaiʻi law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a problem, please email us first; most issues are solved within days. If it cannot be solved informally within 30 days, either party may bring a claim in small claims court, or in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. You and we consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. This clause does not remove any right you have to sue in the courts where you live, if your local law gives you that right.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date, and it applies only to use after that date. A guide you have already bought keeps the terms that applied when you bought it. We may change or discontinue the service. If we discontinue a guide during your 30-day access, we will refund that purchase.
12. General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
