Privacy Policy
Love Mismatch is built so that we hold as little about you as possible. The free assessment runs entirely in your browser. We only receive your answers if you choose to buy a paid guide, and then only to generate it. If you use the free fight translator, we receive only the text you type, to write one answer.
1. What we collect, and where it goes

We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party fonts, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
2. Cookies and browser storage
We set one cookie, and only after a purchase: __Host-lm-purchase. It is a signed, HttpOnly reference to your checkout session that proves you paid, and it expires after 30 days. It is strictly necessary for the service. Your answers are kept in your browser’s local storage (or session storage, if you choose “Temporary”). For the anonymous counts above, this tab’s session storage also remembers which site sent you here and which one-time counts it already sent; it is cleared when you close the tab. You can erase them at any time with “Reset all”, or by clearing your browser data.
3. The AI provider
Paid guides and fight-translator answers are generated by Anthropic, PBC (the Claude models). Anthropic processes the content we send only to produce the guide. Under its commercial terms, it does not use that content to train its models, and it keeps it only for a limited time under its own retention and safety policies. Please do not include information you would not want processed this way, such as health details or identifying details about other people.
4. Your partner’s information
A couples guide sends both partners’ profiles to the AI provider. Before we generate one, you must confirm that your partner shared their export with you and agreed to this use. Only import someone else’s results with their permission.
5. Who we share information with
Only these service providers, and only for the purposes above: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and database), and Anthropic (AI guides and translator answers). We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users, or the public. If the business is sold, these records may be transferred to the buyer under this policy.
6. How long we keep it
Guide content and translator text are not stored by us, and translator counters are replaced daily. Anonymous daily counts say nothing about any one person, so we keep them. We keep purchase records for as long as we need them for access, refunds, dispute handling, fraud prevention, and tax and accounting obligations, which is generally up to seven years. Data in your browser stays until you delete it.
7. Your choices and rights
Most of your data is on your own device, and you control it there. For anything we hold, email support at teklani dot com to ask for access, correction, or deletion. Include your Stripe receipt so we can find the record. We will respond within 30 days. Deleting a purchase record ends access to that guide. We will not treat you differently for making a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track you across sites, so there is nothing for Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals to switch off. We respect them anyway.
9. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, a strict Content Security Policy, signed HttpOnly cookies, and verified Stripe webhooks. We collect as little as possible. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law, including Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes chapter 487N.
10. Children
Love Mismatch is for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has used it, contact us and we will delete what we hold.
11. International visitors
We are based in the United States, and our providers process data in the United States and other countries. We process data to perform the service you request, on the basis of your consent (for the AI disclosure and partner data), and in our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure. You may withdraw consent for future processing at any time.
12. Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If the changes are material, we will highlight them on the site.
